While Sony sort of have thier tiny OLED TV available, LG are the first to come through with real, solid plans about how the future of TV is going to roll. With Pioneer bowing out of the biz, the death knol for Plasma might not be far away, and that means quality junkies will have to find somewhere else to get their high contrast, flicker free viewing. OLED is the answer, as demonstrated by the positively sexual LG you see above. less than 1cm thick, and 15" accross, the screen supports full HD and apparently is just stunning to watch.

We look foward to it's availability (although not it's cost!) in the summer.

Sony have been kicking out some pretty damn good personal audio players recently, their revived walkman line spearheading the flash player audio quality drive. Seriously, there's very little out there that sounds better than the flash based walkman players, and the new x1050 looks great. A touch screen OLED display, and 16 or 32gb of memory, it might well be THE flash player to have. Expensive though, at £214 for the smaller of the too….US prices not yet forthcoming.
